Keysham Foodbank moved their warehousing operations to Marksbury Business Centre in 2020.
Alan Hale from the Keynsham Foodbank tells us about moving their storage facilities to Marksbury Business Centre.
Everyone at the Foodbank are very pleased to have our unit at Marksbury Business Centre. Previously our volunteers that work in the warehouse didn’t have any daylight or even much fresh air – this new modern unit at Marksbury now gives our volunteers plenty of both and is a much better environment to work in.
Keynsham Foodbank has supported over 1300 people since 1st April 2020. To put this in perspective – during the last entire fiscal year we supported 1392 people. In the 6 months so far this year we are on track to support more people than last years total, the faciities at Marksbury Business Centre will help us to support even more people.
We are very grateful for the unit at Marksbury and the support we have recived since being here has been fantastic.
