It’s been all change at Marksbury Business Centre this week – after 16 years the Co-Operative store which has run the fuel station and supermarket at Westway Garage has now closed and been replaced by a new ASDA Express store.
The ASDA team worked fast and took just two days to convert the Co-Op into the new store the supermarket and fuel station were closed during the chnageover. Out with the familiar Co-Op blue and in with the bright ASDA green, the fuelling station and supermarket have been updated to reflect the change of store. Not much else has changed, the Co-Op staff has been retained and the store offers almost the same range of products along with the Costa Coffee Express.
The Co-Op has been running Westway Garage since August 2007, when it took over the running of the shop and fuel station from David Roberts, who is still the owner of Marksbury Business Centre.
