Morris Mercato tells us about his search for a new location and his decision to take a retail unit at Marksbury and how it’s helped his business.

I run an established and successful barber shop in Saltford, which has been trading for many years. I decided to set up an additional barbers’ shop for my son to operate in the local area and was just looking for the right location.

We approached David at Marksbury Business Centre with our idea, and he could not have been more helpful.

After lots of helpful discussions and advice, we agreed on a unit and design – with the goal to open no later than 1st December 2019.

David got the business centre team working on the unit and it was ready ahead of schedule on 1st November …amazing!

David has been in business for over 40 years and he has given his time and advice freely to my son to help him establish this business. We are way above our target figures and continue to see our business grow in excess of our expectations.

The Marksbury location has worked really well for us it is amazing how far people will travel to avoid traffic and parking problems.
